The dogs have such funky red-eye (or green-eye or blue-eye, as the case may be) in this photo... it reminds me of Nicodemus, as depicted in the 1982 Don Bluth animated feature, The Secret of NIMH.

In the commentary for Secret of NIMH, Don Bluth and the producer admit to copying this duel straight from another movie, but they never say which one. Some helpful friend on YouTube suggested "The Vikings," but I've never seen it.

Because it wouldn't be a movie without a climactic sword fight at the end.
