Can you hold on for a second, on second thought maybe two while I get my second phone! (It took me 27 tries to get the stop watch function to stop on exactly 1 second.)
Early this weekend when we had some clouds along with the sunrise, this eagle was sitting in a tree on the edge of a large wetland pond in the Dalbo WMA. I pulled off the road, took a few shots and was not happy with them. He gathered his wings and flew off and I thought that was the end of my opportunity. But within 10 minutes he flew back into the same tree and perched on the end of a dead branch near the top.

More wabi-sabi, more tulips: a dazzling white and green tulip variety, a bit past it's prime. I like the lovely form, color, and texture here, as well as what I see as a the beauty in its decline.
This is a multi-image focus stack, so it should reward pretty close examination, by opening in its own browser window and then clicking the cursor on it twice.

Trekking up Glen Lehigh in Ricketts Glen State Park from Waters Meet, B. Reynolds Falls is the second set of falls one encounters; though, from an imagery perspective, I would call it second to none. The unseasonably warm weather in the mid-Atlantic region of the United States has delayed the peak autumn color change. Before today this region has had very little rainfall, so the falls are not roaring at their full grandeur, but I was quite pleased with what I was able to capture.
