I took this from a Seattle Ferry of the Seattle Great Wheel when they were first building and installing it. Cranked up the HDR to show details in all of the different building textures

The city as seen from the Bainbridge ferry and slid in Snapseed and DistressedFX apps. HSS!

Taken just a few blocks from home. I find it amazing, I take out the trash and I have a view of the Space Needle. How lucky is that?

For all my OCD friends!

A Seattle waterfront 4 shot panorama stiched in lightroom and captured from the ferry.

Seattle skyline from 2018

Long exposure of Seattle skyline from Jose Rizal Bridge, Washington State

I've been waiting for an opportunity to get some low fog pushing in as the sun was setting to capture the city lights in the fog. After a few years I finally got the conditions I was looking for.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by

Photographed at Rizal Park, Seattle,Washington

It has been a while since I've uploaded something from Rizal. I remember this particular day being very wind, with lots of cloud movement and so I decided to throw on the 10 stopper and let the sunset color kind of ooze into the scene.

Beautiful city but like most cities in the world today it has a dirty dangerous core.

#250. It has been quite a while since I've posted up a Lakeview photo, so here is one for the ol' 250.

Seattle Skyline from First Hill.Nowadays, Seattle Skyline is "adorned" with cranes due to construction frenzy. About 60 high-rises are being built.

4th avenue in the international district of Seattle. This one struck me for the way the clouds formed in the sky in lines converging upon downtown and what better than to pair them with a nice metro bus. An ND filter did the trick in getting a long enough shutter speed to complete the image.

Have a great weekend everyone and thanks as always for taking the time to stop in and check out my stuff

This is the Seattle skyline as seen from the waterfront just south of Bell Harbor. I have to give Seth Oliver credit for the inspiration for this shot as he is the urban reflection master, so this is a little tribute. Check out his stuff here: www.flickr.com/photos/setholiver1/ he's got some killer cityscape reflection shots.

Thanks for stoping by and checking out my work and have a great week ahead.

An aerial view of the international district of Seattle with a thin misting of rain to make everything pop.

Thanks for taking the time to check out my photo stream I really appreciate it

The fall and winter sunrises in the Pacific Northwest are bar none the best. We don't get a bunch of them but the ones we do get make up for it. This is the first of hopefully many great sunrises in the next couple months. I always process these slowly and take care to get them as close to the actual experience as possible, but it's tough to replicate mother nature at her finest.

Have a great week everyone and I would like to thank you all for taking the time to visit my photostream, I really appreciate it.

As a new father with a little guy who is almost walking I spend an enormous amount of my time looking for all things sharp and dangerous. As I was going back through some archives I had near the time he was born, I came across this session from west Seattle. It's always nice when Elliot bay is nice and flat to put on a an ND filter and let the seconds roll. After doing the post on this one, I thought wow, everything is so soft and safe looking in this frame...

Have a great week ahead friends and thanks for the visit

This is an update to the progress on the Alaskan Way Viaduct replacement tunnel currently underway in Seattle. This project was started in 2013 and was originally slated to be finished in 2014. Well the project has not gone according to plan and now the project is estimated to be done in 2018... maybe. For now, here is an update of what the new future great comp of Seattle looks like.

Have a great week ahead everyone and thanks as always for taking the time to check out my work.

On-board the Ferry, Leaving Seattle.

I think it's making an early appearance this year.

It's been an exciting few days for photography, the weather is getting a lot better, the super moon came, and hopefully every one got to see it. I have been shooting as much as I can, after all when the sun is out in the Pacific Northwest you have to take advantage. This shot was taken this morning from the Hamilton lookout in West Seattle, it was a beautifully calm. warm morning. I love days like this, it makes waking up and being out of the door at 4:30 in the morning that much easier. I have been away from the computer for the last few days so I will be catching up with everyone soon. Have a great week all
