One afternoon, all we saw were red, green, and late-fall/early winter like colours. So, I figured, in the name of 2nd Advent, I shall share with you a few of those pictures, right into the Pre-Christmas-Moods (they are hard to come by as is, here in summer-hot and blue-skied Australia ;) )

THE BUFFOON ( jester) there is a puppet , a doll sitting in a very old SEDAN CHAIR

Sedan Chair (a closed chair for one passenger, carried on poles by two bearers. It was commonly used in the 17th and 18th centuries )

"After the fire of London, in 1666, the streets were impassable, and so people of quality went on their business or pleasure in sedan chairs. They became in time such a nuisance as to obstruct the highways. "– The History of Dress, The New York Times, 1884,

Sedan chairs were a major mode of transportation through London’s narrow streets and along Bath’s steep lanes throughout the 17th and 18th centuries and early part of the 19th century. Strong chair carriers could transport passengers down winding passageways much faster than a carriage, which had to make frequent stops in congested traffic. The chair was named after the town of Sedan in France where it was first used. By 1634, they had been introduced to London as vehicles for hire, and their popularity quickly spread to France and Scotland, as well as the rest of Europe.

These portable covered chairs, used in one form or another in other cultures since ancient times, sported side windows and a hinged door at the front. Sedan carriers inserted long wood poles into metal brackets on either side of the chair. The poles were long and springy and provided a slightly bouncy ride. They were arranged in such a manner that the chair would remain in a horizontal position as the carriers climbed up steps or steep slopes. Passenger entered and exited between the poles if they remained in place.

Because these portable chairs could be carried inside buildings, people could be transported around the city without being identified. This made it easier for people who were evading the law to go about their business, or for public personages to carry on trysts. Links-boys would light the road at night, and they waited until they were needed again to light the way back.

Abstract !! It’s ABSTRACT !! And Is AN Abstract !!! But it make sense to my work, wither I conceive a perception and create some creation, or I have created something out of nothing and shape up a theme in it, what ever ir;s th secret between the creator and viewer . Let me be honest , I never conceive any creation b coz my level of profession do not allow me to go such a depth of a creativity, therefore, some abstract really make sense to my work , this is One of such , Lets have FUN

I uploaded this Image at 0618pm and AT 08 ;30 PM i NOTICED A LOT OF INTEREST DEVELOPED TO THIS ABSTRACT ,, Sanaj vai could notice the flower that I uploaded b 4 this shot, And some reflection is seen ,But Most Interesting to this shot is Some impotent elements are almost missing from this shot, and this is possible because it was a 50 mm 1.8 ,

if you Noticed the caption, and I left a catch word , Work So that's Something related to Focus, lens and Camera Tools, i Wish to present you with my next upload [as usual after two days] , the real item which was made an abstract, hope you enjoy then the total of this abstract, till then bye.

It's starting to look a lot like Christmas 🎄🎁

To all my Flickr Friends, I wish you blessings and love on this day and all through the coming new year. Thank you all so much for your support and encouragement and for those of you who I actively follow... it has been my delight to see your photos, to hear your stories and to see the world through your camera's eyes. God Bless.....

Peter the Rabbit is not at all a Happy Bunny for the Festive Season !!!!

But I am !!!!!!!

Happy Christmas all my Flikr friends and I look forward to a wonderful New Year taking photos and looking at all your wonderful work.

All the best

One afternoon, all we saw were red, green, and late-fall/early winter like colours. So, I figured, in the name of 2nd Advent, I shall share with you a few of those pictures, right into the Pre-Christmas-Moods (they are hard to come by as is, here in summer-hot and blue-skied Australia ;) )

Here, it's a Crested Barbet, studying us and its surroundings curiously as we continued to take pictures of it :)

Happy Christmas, Joyful get-togethers, families and friends!

All my very best wishes for everyone on Flickr! May the New Year be full of new experiences and delicate awareness.

My Last Up load I noticed form your comments was interesting, Later I decided to upload this shot and show you actually what was the real subject hat my CANON 60D made to a image, and I really enjoyed a lot,

If you noticed from the early photo, which I posted below in my guest book here, The reflection of widow you saw was from the canon 18-200,, kit lens of my Canon 60 D Camera, and the background yellow and read were those flowers and the flower Vass was totally defocused and almost zeo existence here,

Below the flower Vass those two close up lens and the lens Box wee early visible here. Hope you agree with me that abstract make sense to my work,,,,

Who doesn't feel reminded of the holiday period approaching, when Squirrels are digging in fall foliage, trying to find nuts and other yummies in time for the winter season?

While this one was about to head into wet-season, the mood still had us stuck in the Northern Hemisphere Feels - even though we couldn't really be much futher south if we tried. Well.. we could have gone to Antarctica, I suppose...

These are Christmas messages on Taipei 101. I shot them several times and put them together to share with you all. Thank you for being one of my Flickr contacts or just stop by to view my photo. Have a Merry Christmas!

A leaflet advertising the Post Office's radiotelegram and radiotelephone services that allowed you to send seasonsal greetings to family members or friends who were serving in the Merchant Navy or Royal Navy. By handing in your form at the Post Office or dictating it by phone before 22nd December (28 December for New Year) the message would be passed through one of the PO's UK Radio Stations in the form of a telegram message.

Charges varied - any passenger or cargo vessel was 1/8d a word with those to RN vessels reduced to 1/1d a word, although in the case of the "Home Fleet" it was 8½d. Trawlers, drifters, coasters, cross-Channel and short voyage ships was a 1/- a word. The radiotelephone service using the PO's Ship's Telephone Service was quite involved as can be imagined and charges varied 'according to the position of the ship". above 300 miles. Within 300 miles the charge was not cheap at 12/6d for 3 minutes.

The leaflet has no date but does have a designer shown - Roger Harris - with quite a stylish seascape and vessel on the cover and a dove of peace on the reverse side, carrying the olive branch. I suspect, given the design, this is a mid-60s version of the annual leaflet.
