Winter approaches but slows as much of the snow in foreground has melted due to warmer weather.Thanks for looking and have a great day!
Cooler temperatures have moved in, signs of autumn are starting to appear, one of my favorite places to photograph will be no more next year as the area has been sold for expensive houses.

We passed a strange day on Wirral peninsula with weather going through basically three stations: rain, storm, sunshine, biting cold, everything. Here an instance of the sunny period :)
One other shot taken last weekend. I wasn't that keen on it compared to the other 3 shots I took, but having edited it I don't mind it so much now. Not the best composition, but it's all I could get. Taken at the same spot as my previous upload.
Hard to believe this snow was pretty much all gone by Sunday and even harder to believe that tomorrow it's supposed to be 11 degrees. The temperature has been all over the place this Winter, but so far the whole season has been much more bearable than last one we endured with snow still on the ground in May!

Jokulsarlon glacier lake in Southeast Iceland offers views on an enormous glacier tongue and amazing ice floes floating around in the lake created by melting glacial ice.
As it's Christmas I thought I would upload this seasonal Robin.

Autumn in Melbourne is always beautiful, with many wonderful deciduous trees full of colour like this Japanese Maple, one of my favourites, which I have been visiting regularly on my walks over the last month. It is now ablaze with beautiful reds, oranges and golds! And all too soon this autumnal ephemera will be gone until next year.
The day I took this photo was a lovely and sunny day with bright blue skies, although there was a crispness in the air. I thought I'd go for a walk and take advantage of the sunny conditions, as rain arrived the day after.
