The entrance of the old mosque of El Mansourah. The mosque has 13 gates, this one is the main. The Mansurah mosque was built around 1303 by Sultan Abu Yacoub.

I went in search of bluebells in the Wye Valley, although they were only just emerging in many places. On the West facing slopes of Bigsweir Wood, I made my way along Offa's Dyke Path and saw this patch of bluebells on the steepish slopes. I made my way down to this point and found this old broken millstone, which must be a throw back to this areas industrial past when the steep hillside streams were useful in powering watermills.
On the lower slopes the Wild Garlic was just starting to emerge too, this area will look great in a week to 10 days time for sure.
Searched, found and photographed on the island of Amrum/ Germany.

Some doors are not God’s will for you to enter them and God closes it for your protection. God knows everything and He knows if you’re on a path that leads to danger. It's a good idea to talk to God continuously to know His will.
When God opens a door He will never cause you to compromise or contradict His Word. Many times God will confirm His will through His Word and through others such as godly counsel.
Usually you know it’s an open door from God when you have to rely on Him. If God doesn’t make a way there will be no way.

**What a great time of the year! I know you all are enjoying it too! I am still traveling and teaching a lot, and also having a lot of company...well, after all it is Spring Break and the weather here is gorgeous! But something I love about you all and the flickr community and that is this...that we can just pick up where we left off with each other & connect when time allows us to post...so thankful for that! When you sit near the ocean and gaze out at the water, you give your brain and senses a rest from overstimulation, get into a mindful state, and trigger insights and ideas that eluded you while you were sitting at your computer.

If you look carefully you may be able to see two Hector's Dolphins. These small dolphins are only found in New Zealand's waters and we were so lucky to see them surfing the waves :) One of many special moments we were fortunate enough to experience last year during our month in New Zealand.

After the 'Prins van Oranje' theater was closed in 1998, Theater de Mythe opened its doors in Goes in 2003. The theater offers a wide range of drama, cabaret, music and dance programming. In addition to professional artists, there is also room for amateur companies.

The Mandarin duck - thre male - is the most beautiful and colorful duck in the world. With his colorful feather dress he can be overseen between the colorful autumn nature. The famale duck however is more pale and matches with the color of the water and does not attract your eyes.
Behind this couple there is hidden another great duck. Two male Wood Ducks - for me the second colorful ducks. Both species are not native with us. There are very few in Germany mostly in Parcs and Zoos.
Two years ago I realized them in our area a small paradise with many ponds. It seems they like it here and decided to stay for ever for the whole year. This might also be due to the climate change.
For me it is always a pleasure to see them on their favourite places.
Short-eared owls are most often seen in the late afternoon and at
dawn or dusk. They primarily eat small mammals, but occasionally
take small birds; their young sometimes eat insects. When
hunting, these owls dive from perches or fly low over the ground
and pounce on their prey from above.
These birds prefer the open country of grasslands and marshes,
inhabiting areas where small mammals are plentiful. Their
population changes, breeding behaviors and nest success change
from year to year based on their food supply. Breeding occurs in
March through June. Their courtship entails elaborate flight
displays that include wing-clapping, exaggerate wing beats and scuffles.
