It's been a good year for mushrooms, rising up steady from the damp forest floor. These needles keep it low, insulating blanket for regular rains, breaking down the rot of years as food for what's next. There's a seamless silence in this forest, an absolute windlessness that lets the distant sounds in. Steady hum of highway traffic muffled, soft and never closer. Some far-off off-roader revving an engine on a parallel trail, we never met on the way. Immovable beauty that won't survive the week, one more image of what wasn't long and will never be again. I'm on the level looking, like with a child stone or summer flower, you're no less meaningful than them. Whatever I discover, I've promised not to look down on you.

I've added another Phicen male figure to my collection! I am really beginning to like this line! The figures are really well made and this new figure is taller than the previous muscular figure!
while setting up to shoot my son on the white seamless, he was having none of it and ran around the back, found a tiny hole and ripped a space to look through.
luckily, i had just set the light and camera for a test exposure and managed to grab a couple of shots before he stuck his head through, and even though i wasn't set up right, i managed to get my favourite portrait of my son!
