Sunset over Shitten Craig off the coastline of Portknockie on Scotland's Moray Firth.
This is a blend of 4 images shot at different apertures as an experiment to achieve different exposures without changing the shutter speed. The grass is at f/8, The rocks and sea are at f/11, the sky is at f/16 and the sun is at f/22. Generally speaking, I feel this was a success and makes for a more seamless blend. I fully intend to work more on this technique and see if I can improve it further.
Seagulls celebrate New Year over St Michael's Mount. Happy New Year camera fans.........
I have reluctantly decided to withdraw from any commenting groups, as I am finding the repetitive pasting of a fixed comment some what lacking in my enjoyment of your images. I feel far more comfortable leaving a personal message, if and when I see an enjoyable image. I hope you all have preferred the spontaneous response. Many thanks to all the group admins for all their dedicated work and time, I have been flattered by your invites.....
