I set up my scriptures with my missionary tag and I think the positioning turned out nice. I think the exposure might be a little low on this picture, but I like how the lighting turned out.

Yesterday, on November 12, 2007, World Tipitaka Edtion was handed over as a royal gift of Wisdom & Peace to the Genernal Secretary of Maha Bodhi society of India, the first instittue in India to have received from H.R.H. Princess Galyani Vadhana of Thailand, Honorary President of Tipitaka Presentation Worldwide.
The 40-volume Roman-script Pali Tipitaka is enshirned in the newly reinnovated historic building which is now a Temple of Maha Bodhi Society at Buddhagaya.

the relic is an artwork, to believe in the HIGHER SOMETHING is an art project.
the whole project is thought like a synonym for art as a religion, as something higher u have to believe in.
One small piece of scripture that is so relevant to me even thousands of years after it was left. I'm so thankful it was left with me in mind. Scripture speaks like no other book can.

+ Shin Ye-eun is a 18 year old Korean girl who has a troubled (turbulent) childhood and past. She is born to a poor family in a small village in Korea. Growing up, her mother was very ill and she did her best to help take care of her. She watched her mother pass away at a young age. She was left alone with her father. He did not know how to provide for the family. He spent most of his time complaining about having little money and would compare his life to the families with larger homes and more money. Eventually, there was so little money in the house, he had to leave the small property and sell his daughter.
+ An older Korean lady (INFJ), who is trained for these types of situations is sent to Shin Ye-eun’s small house. She is joined by an older gentleman (ENTP) who provides protection and understands the situation. The goal is to transfer Shin Ye-eun to a man in Kenya, named Aliaune. Background checks have been made. Aliaune owns multiple tents in the small Kenyan village. He knows how to provide for the family (financially) and is able to feed his family a generous amount of food. He watches over his health and by the looks of it, is able to protect the family and village well.

Song of Songs 8:6-7 "Many waters can't drown love..."
and the other one was supposed to be Jeremiah 31:3, "I have loved you with an everlasting love...", one of my favorites from childhood and a verse I chose for my mom's funeral. However, we ended up getting instead verses 31-34 which is all about God's covenant with Israel. That was a bit of a jolt. 'S'Ok! It's not a wedding if something like this doesn't happen! And covenants are promises, and that's what we were there to make. We just don't really have anything to do with Israel, except I pray for peace there, and that doesn't rally seem like a strong enough of a bond to have "Israel" mentioned that many times in our wedding. So I'm chuckling.
