Know how wide the tape is, so can place a scribe line on the door for trimming. Trim to within 1/8 inch of scribed line then sand down further to fit as needed.
One of the many beautifully displayed items, a scribe. Models such as this one (and those in wood, of which this museum has many) tell the scholar more than paintings since they represent life more truly.
