From my recent trip to Shakespeare and Beethoven Festivals, Winona, MN. Gone the month of July....home now for August.
Some people won't have a clue what this is but I'm sure some will. I will say it's about a 1/4 inch squared so pretty decent enlargement. and the strands are made of magnesium. Perhaps a bit of inspiration from the artwork of Cy Twombly.

on the wall found along the Vltava river in Český Krumlov Czechia. Taken slightly before blue hour and while looking south east, the Vltava river had a mirror like finish which was almost good enough to make out the scribbles on the wall of the building to the left. Image taken while MK and I were wandering around the Czech Republic taking photos. Hope everyone had a wonderful week and I hope you enjoy the weekend. :-)

Love these trees & love watercolour so for Smile on Saturday: in the style of Albert Namatjira.
Albert Namatjira (1902–59) was born into the Arrernte community at the Hermannsburg Lutheran Mission, near Alice Springs, Northern Territory.

Perhaps if he had been a Gundungurra or Dharug man (included in the Blue Mountains) he would have painted Scribbly Gums.

I like the way you can see that the bugs that ate the wood got clearly fatter and bigger the further they built their superhighway.
Corythoichthys intestinalis, known commonly as the scribbled pipefish, is a species of marine fish in the family Syngnathidae. It is widespread throughout the tropical waters of the central Indo-Pacific region. The Scribbled pipefish is a small fish and can reach a maximum size of 16 centimetres (6.3 in) total length. Adults occur in shallow sandy or mixed sand, rubble, or coral areas of reef flats and lagoons, also sometimes on seaward reefs, to depths of 20–68 metres (66–223 ft).
