As part of Glasgow’s Active Ageing Week, a community group from 'Keep Creative', an arts and health GP referral programme, run by Depot Arts in North Glasgow took part in our ‘Growing Bolder’ Printmaking and Archive Project.
This print was selected from the Glasgow Print Studio Archive by Colin from the Depot Arts group.
“This is created with several layer. First the colour yellow is put down then it has the back ground put on and then all of the birds are laid on top of this one by one. It is very spacious and the colours are very good as well. Alasdair Wallace started at the School of Art in Glasgow 1987-1991 and left with a BA Hons in fine art then went on to go on to do other works such as Pocket Mountain and lots of other good paintings.”
