my desktop computer can't play Quicktime movies properly in a browser session. Instead, it plays the video just fine, but the audio is totally glitched out.

Vanessa from Reel Works Teen Filmmaking eeked out a small space to put the finishing touches on her ID-scape. She put her photo on top of money because she says that she thinks she deserves to be there as well as any dead president. Her film Scroli is about her life experiences growing up with Scroliosis. Her hair is permed, but she says would take it out if she had the courage -- she admires women of African decent with natural hair.
Ben had to go to a school function, so I took myself out, bought some magazines, and went to the movies. Not a bad way to start the weekend, because, really---I need a break.

Whitney and Bianka traveled down from Youth Rights Media in New Haven, CT. Bianka told us that she's grown as a filmmaker and person, that people don't recognize her from the person she was only two years ago. She loves basketball, especially pro Lisa Leslie. She's organized students protests, produced the film Who's Watching and most importantly, she wants an "independent classification" and to be seen as herself.
