The room is paneled with antique red borcade and illuminated by torches held in the hands of caryatides, carved female figures. The host habitually occupied th eleft hand seat in the front row, with a telephone close at hand, in constant touch with his newspaper empire."

The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City is hosting a retrospective showcase of Tim Burton’s iconic work within its walls.
Taking inspiration from popular culture, Tim Burton (American, b. 1958) has reinvented Hollywood genre filmmaking as an expression of personal vision, garnering for himself an international audience of fans and influencing a generation of young artists working in film, video, and graphics. This exhibition explores the full range of his creative work, tracing the current of his visual imagination from early childhood drawings through his mature work in film. It brings together over seven hundred examples of rarely or never-before-seen drawings, paintings, photographs, moving image works, concept art, storyboards, puppets, maquettes, costumes, and cinematic ephemera from such films as Edward Scissorhands, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Batman, Mars Attacks!, Ed Wood, and Beetlejuice, and from unrealized and little-known personal projects that reveal his talent as an artist, illustrator, photographer, and writer working in the spirit of Pop Surrealism. The gallery exhibition is accompanied by a complete retrospective of Burton’s theatrical features and shorts, as well as a lavishly illustrated publication.
Burton's films include Vincent (1982), Pee-wee's Big Adventure (1985), Beetlejuice (1988), Batman (1989), Edward Scissorhands (1990), Batman Returns (1992), The Nightmare Before Christmas (as creator and producer) (1993), Ed Wood (1994), Mars Attacks! (1996), Sleepy Hollow (1999), Big Fish (2003), Corpse Bride (2005), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005), and Sweeney Todd (2007); writing and Web projects include The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy & Other Stories (1997) and Stainboy (2000).

Mayfair Theatre. Also referred to as The Screening Room, the theatre is equipped, as you would expect in one of London most luxurious hotels, to the highest standard. State-of -the-art sound, digital 3D projection and a large screen are all provided following a renovation of the hotel in 2005.

This is where screen 5 used to be, in a rather small auditorium. The screen is still there. Here it's used as a storage room for most of the films shown at the IDFA (International Documentary Festival Amsterdam 2008. Pathé uses it to store seats and seat parts.

Stairway heading to the third floor. Unfortunately it's blocked off, I would have so liked to get a look at the rooms up there. Currently the area is used as office space for the museum staff. However back in George Eastman's day it was his personal sanctum. Tucked away up there were the accounterments of his hobbies. He had a two-story room that was his study, a lab, darkroom, workshop, a billiard room, storage area for his camping accessories, and a kitchen where he experimented with dehydrating batter for biscuits for his camping trips and where he also made his famous lemon pies (the cook did not allow him in the great kitchen on the first floor). There was also a screening room where Eastman previewed new motion pictures before they were shown at the Eastman Theater. His hunting trophies were displayed on the walls of the third floor. The servant's quarters were also in this area, as well as a special living space for his neice and her family when they came for a visit. George Eastman preferred to celebrate certain hoildays with close family and friends in this area. Located in the mansion at the George Eastman House & Gardens, 900 East Ave in Rochester, NY.
Even the smaller (former) auditoriuns have nice and odd details, like the cove or shrine in the wall.
This window-free room ensures complete control of lighting for audio/visual presentations as well as full privacy for meetings. Luxury seating for 15 is combined with the latest 3D digital technology on a 102” screen.
Use abstract graphics to express Lexus (IS-F)'s super engine power. This is the part that i did. It plays in movie theater big screen size.
