Whether it is a scheduled maintenance appointment or drive-up oil change service, customers have the use of the lounge. Since it opened during Covid, the seating is spaced more widely than before the pandemic. During warm weather a few Adirondack chairs are placed outdoors for those wishing to pass the time there. Coffee varieties, water, and snacks (left of frame) are provided, too. Unlike 10 years ago, when smartphones and other digital Internet devices were not ubiquitous, in 2024 almost everyone seemed to be looking at some kind of screen for business or pleasure. Perhaps this urge to carry on working, even when servicing one's car, comes from the years of working from home and the services and devices making mobile transaction/communication easier all the time.
