Adepto Salvus is one of the most technically complex prints I've made. Interference inks are used to create the illusion of vanishing patterns and figures. As the angle of view shifts, the figures literally become nearly transparent and reappear in shiny iridescence. The background patterns also shift in color and merge together as you view them. There are 15 monoprints, each one unique. This is the first in my new series of "special effects" screen prints.
