Hacía mucho calor. Estaban todas las ventanas abiertas. Y yo estaba viendo "Scream 2" por primera vez con Augusto. Y me estaba dando mucho miedo. De pronto... se corta la luz. Como tarda en volver, decido acostarme y me quedo profundamente dormida. No sé cuánto tiempo habré dormido, sólo sé que en un momento sentí que querían abrir la puerta de la habitación. Abrí los ojos y ví que alguien se me acercaba. Y empecé a gritar: ¡Asesino! ¡Asesino!
Era Augusto, con su remera blanca que resaltaba en la oscuridad, que venía a ver si yo estaba bien. Se enojó mucho después de ese episodio. No me habló por unas cuantas horas.
Scream 2 es sin dudas, la mejor de la trilogía

This flower is a hummingbird magnet: Salvia coccinea (common names: Blood Sage,
Scarlet Sage, Texas Sage and of course, Hummingbird Sage). Each blossom is no more than 2.5 cm (1 inch) high. In this climate it is unfortunately an annual and must be planted again each spring.

One of our decorations on my wreath hanging on the back door to greet the Halloween visitors. This year we had 36 kids at the door. My Facebook memories reminded me that back on this day in 2019 we had a total of 6 kids at our door.

One might say "screaming" with both the whistle and speed through Conesville, Ohio on October 20, 2003 with a freight charter by the late David Goodheart was Ohio Central's former GTW Class U3b Northern 6325. All one has to do is look at the plume and know she was rolling, surely reliving the glory years. Thanks to the late Jerry Jacobson for obtaining and rebuilding the 6325 back to operational condition for I remembered that GTW whistle from my childhood years along the GTW north of Detroit, yes sometimes you can go back.

Averil and I were enjoying a filled roll and the view down the estuary (Previous photo) from the decking at the foot of "Downtown" Waiuku when she decided to throw a small titbit of meat from her Roll to one lonely Red-Billed Gull looking longingly up at her...
A split second later, that sole Gull was joined by another 20 or so screaming squabbling "cousins" all clambering for that one little morsel...!!!
And did the original Gull succeed in getting the food?? Nope!!! He was last seen flying off down the estuary...!!! What a wise bird...!!!

Now I am sure there used to be one of those old telephone boxes in the village... I'm confused.
The truth is, this rare colour telephone has been here since I don't know when? I can remember it being one of the clues on one of those " treasure hunts " my parents used to go on. I was aged 10 or 11 at the time. Yes, 10 was the age when I was dragged kicking and screaming into the modern world when the family got our first car- A Ford Cortina Mk1. Wow, those were the days. Also about the time I first started dressing in my Mums underwear. I could never of guessed then, that 50 years later, I would be living more as a woman than a man.
Sorry about changing this picture once and again, I wasn't really satisfied with the outcome. Now, I think I am... :)

this picture was actually supposed to be much more lighthearted originally, but this is how it turned out.
For a long time skateboarding was the most important thing in my life. For years my board was never out of reach. I ate it all up: the mags, the videos, the dress style, the attitude, the art. With this MOC I wanted to pay tribute to that.
The Screaming Hand is one of the most iconic images associated with skateboarding, drawn in 1985 by the most influential artist in the realm of skateboarding, Jim Phillips. Among so many things, he also created my favorite board, the Santa Cruz Natas board pictured.
