Looks like a new housing development is going up on the left of the site. That used to be a couple of used car sales sites and a timber yard.

On our way back through to Canada we passed through Babb a small town near to the Canadian border and I spotted a bunch of abandoned pick-up trucks. The 57 Chevy in the foreground was still in reasonable nick with little missing in the way of trim etc.
Not a lot of RM 1309 left at Norths Scrapyard on 4 November 1982. Most of the fifty RMs that went to Norths were fully intact. Some had bits missing from them - but nothing major. And a few were seriously robbed having been laid up on LT premises for some time including this one which had spent the best part of three years in a corner of Catford Garage slowly donating various parts to keep others on the road.

If you were to arrive at Truro by water - this is the view that would greet you . Taken from one of The Enterprise Boats boat tours from Trelissick Gardens you can see this pile opposite the Sunny Corner area .
Clipped wing Boeing 747-436 G BYGB minus her flight deck along with G BYGF & G CIVJ at Cotswold/Kemble (EGBA) in July 2021. Delivered to British Airways in 1999 G BYGB was wfu in March 2020 stored at Cardiff briefly before the short hop to Kemble in Sept 2020, she was completely scrapped by Aug 2021.
Any hope of salvation for this Vauxhall Victor F Series of 1959/60? A sticker in the windshield suggested it last ran in 1976. A most uncommon find in the United States...
