Typically drives that are more than 10 miles mean that I am the driver -- since such drives usually have the goal of camping, 4x4ing, photography, etc... This weekend my girlfriend and I went down to Tucson for a wedding and I convinced her it would be awesome if she drove...
So, on the way back I had a belly full of prickly pear margaritas and champagne & had a bug to play with my camera -- this is what I came up with.
This is a stitch of two 6sec exposures. I was in the backseat (at 6'6" the back of a tC and a bunch of camera gear (don't forget the drunk factor) was pretty interesting -- i even knocked the transmission into neutral climbing back to the front seat..). I set my Canon 580 EX II strobe to 24mm at 1/64th power and popped once for each frame hand-held at 90° to driver's left. Shot in Tungsten WB.
The weather has been acting like spring finally so I slapped my front wheels back on so I could take photos of my car one last time before I swap off the wheels and old suspension. I'm going to be selling my regas and old ksports and then to the drawing board, but I've already got a few ideas set up.

As we were coming back from dinner, there was this perfect sense of light that was casting down the road. It was a mix of the sun going down and humid air, which created a diffused orange/pink glow of light.

I had my buddy Elliott drive my car today so I could finally see it in motion for myself.
Selling the regas, time to move on.
