This is a scientist that lives in the year 2035. He is currently wearing his specialized suit which allows him to live in Antarctica and stay outside even at temperatures that would freeze you to death. No one knows his reasons for being at Antarctica, some believe it is because he knows of a possible creature up there. The people believe this because there has been recent attacks in the Arctic Circle of a mammoth creature with claws as thick as a 1 foot. Many reports have stated mutant creatures. Because of these reports they blame "The Scientist" for these outbreaks.

look at that sea of red!

One of the resident scientists came outside with some of her study birds and told us a great deal about Crossbills. More than I can remember.

One thing I do remember is that the bills are not all crossed the same way. Some cross the upper beak over to the right of the lower and others to the left. This is not something that is apparent at birth but develops as the bird grows. It is more complicated than that but that is the basics of it.
