lead singer for Sweet Lorraine out of NYC. Photographed in my living room which gets that nice window light or in this case sliding glass door : ) Not for anything band related but for fun.
On a trip to the Eifel (Germany) we visited 'Wildpark Schmidt', a wildlife park with a lot of space for the mostly native animals.
I'm posting this photo to show that the animals live in natural surroundings and (quite) open spaces - and that they can ignore photographers as much as they like ;-)
It is situated in Schmidt - Nideggen.

fabrics are Chicopee by Denyse Schmidt and coordinating solids from a bundle i had bought from Pink Chalk Fabrics awhile back.
Modified pattern to make an 80x80 quilt, although it turned out more like 78x80". I laid the blocks out in a 15x8 pattern instead of the 11x7 pattern the pattern uses.
Quilted with a fmq meandering stitch through the triangles, but i did different patterns in the star areas though to highlight the stars.
Made as a wedding gift for my stepsister.
(My husband says we should keep it instead, LOL! I'll behave and give it away though!)
so partner, my first quilt didn't pan out. Actually it was a quilting nightmare. But then a box of Hope Valley arrived at my door and I think it's just your style. Hope you like it!
