This Bridge Spans the River Hull at Tickton Nr Beverley ,This River Flows to Beverley and then onto Hull where it then joins The River Humber ..
As the first golden light broke the silence, the boat floated gently across the calm river. Mist curled through the trees, and the world felt paused — suspended between night’s last breath and the promise of a new day. In that quiet moment, the river whispered stories only the morning could hear.
A great development project undertaken by Odisha Govt with World Bank funding. Well planned and executed project. Neat and clean yellow sand beach with basic facilities, seating arrangement, designated safe swimming area, beach guards and last not the least is a fantastic jogging track. It's a morning walker's paradise in Puri.
Thirlmere is a reservoir in the Borough of Allerdale in Cumbria and the English Lake District. The Helvellyn ridge lies to the east of Thirlmere. To the west of Thirlmere are a number of fells; for instance, Armboth Fell and Raven Crag both of which give views of the lake and of Helvellyn beyond.
Arguably the most picturesque section of the ECML and one of the least photographed, 70814 is pictured at Burnmouth with 6S31 Doncaster Up Decoy to Millerhill Yard
I actually took this shot through a closed and rather dirty window also, but I was adjusting some problems on my small camera and so took a few misty scenes. I really liked the street and buildings opposite our own apartment block. Editing brought out those fantastic clouds a lot more and showed more of the mist also. I also realize too much editing can add some unwanted effects as in the trees here (called a halo), so I must be more careful.

OK not implying any mental issues with this wild mustang. The pose is exaggerated due to the abundance of horse flies buzzing around. Apparently these insects like to fly into the horse's mouth and nose, so the mustangs are constantly bobbing their heads up and down to keep them out! A mesmerizing reflection of the dense forest in the calm waters of Czarny Staw, deep within the Niepołomice Forest. The golden light of the setting sun highlights the textures of pine and birch trees, creating a perfect mirror image on the lake’s surface. The scene exudes tranquility, with only the subtle ripples of water breaking the illusion. A place where time seems to stand still, allowing nature to whisper its quiet stories.
