This is Ashness Bridge in Cumbria, one of the most photographed bridges in the UK. Set in the magnificent Lake District in Cumbria - seen here in the late evening sun in late June 2019. You can just see a bit of Derwent Water on the left centre of the image and also the Skiddaw mountain peaks that over-look the town of Keswick.

Tower Bridge is a combined bascule and suspension bridge in London built between 1886 and 1894. The bridge crosses the River Thames close to the Tower of London and has become an iconic symbol of London. Because of this, Tower Bridge is sometimes confused with London Bridge, situated some 0.5 mi (0.80 km) upstream. Tower Bridge is one of five London bridges now owned and maintained by the Bridge House Estates, a charitable trust overseen by the City of London Corporation. It is the only one of the Trust's bridges not to connect the City of London directly to the Southwark bank, as its northern landfall is in Tower Hamlets.

The magnificent natural limestone arch was formed when the power of the waves eroded the rock and forged a hole through the middle. The name Durdle is derived from an old English word ‘thirl’, which means to pierce, bore or drill

It's around this time of year when I start delving into my ever growing collection of unprocessed images from shoots weeks and months ago. Here's one such taken back in mid March when much of Britain was experiencing varying degrees of The Beast from the East! This shot shows the vast and largely unspoilt (unless you count the road and ski centre) wilderness of the GlenCoe and Rannoch Moor region as the sun gradually dipped for the evening, just kissing the tops of the highest mountains. A local poppy field is full of colour this June, and here is my Mother-in-Law taking a photo on her phone of the scene, while I take a photo of her taking the photo. Each year we make her a calendar with photos of the previous 12 months, this image may make the page for June 2021.
