Canadian indie supergroup Broken Social Scene headlined the Royal Athletic Park mainstage on September 23rd, 2011 for the Rifflandia Music Festival. It was one of their last performances before going on an indefinite hiatus.
These photos are of portions of the West Campus of the University of the Witwatersrand, where I lecture and tutor a couple times a week.
Same shot as the previous one, I just thought the crop gave it a completely different feel. From the set of Henry (2009).

Man, that lens is absolutely yummylicious
This photo of a tree on campus show an extremely shallow depth of field. The amount of light reflection of the snow allowed of a very high shutter speed. Space in this photo in very affective. The buildings in the background even though out of focus really strengthens the photo. There is also great contrast between all the diffused colors of the background and the crime scene tape.
