This is the first time I have been able to capture a rainbow scene. This one started to fade quickly so I never had enough time really mess around, but I like how this one turned.
Thanks for taking a look :)
Have a great week ahead
I apologise for the even worse than usual camera quality.
For those of you getting bored of behind the scenes stuff, fear not, for this is the last behind the scenes picture I have from LDW Series 2.
I'm pretty happy with how this shot from episode 3 turned out, I think it worked quite well in the episode. Looking at the picture, I think how I did it is fairly self-explanatory.
Weekly discussion! Let's go for the positives first. The idea of having a found footage episode of Doctor Who was certainly creative and it had a lot of potential. The idea of monsters being created by the Morpheus machine was cool, although the fact that they were made of sleep dust was a little bit odd. That aspect of the episode reminded me a bit of The Lazarus Experiment, which was also written by Gatiss. Also, the lighting and sets were good and added to the creepy atmosphere. Now for the negatives. I found the episode confusing and disjointed and there were a few occasions where the episode just felt boring and I lost interest. It didn't live up to it's potential. I'm not going to give the episode a score this week, because I need to re-watch it before I can fully form my opinion of it.

I had to put scrapbook paper behind the farm because all of the windows have big gaps around them. It is just propped up here. I use plate stands to hold up backgrounds.

Shot following the Saint 'Yago Knight Parade in Ybor City. A yearly event that is unofficially part of Tampa's weeks long Gasparilla festivities, the Knight Parade regularly attracts 100,000 visitors to Ybor City's Seventh Ave strip.
An intimate moment of a young woman applying makeup, elegantly posed with a makeup brush and compact mirror while wearing a dark green sweater. It showcases beautiful composition with a dreamy bokeh effect in the background, complemented by decorative red berries and a yellow bottle that add visual interest to the scene._Cara Pin_-1-129
I love this girl and her golden eyemake up.

The No.1 End cab of DB Cargo Class 92, 92016 resembles a crime scene these days, with evidence of it being ransacked for parts evident through the windows.
92016's transformer exploded on HS1 in August 2017 and it was subsequently stored at Crewe ETD in September 2017. Despite being the most recently stored Class 92, it is unlikely to run again after such a major failure.
As it was a complete and working locomotive (apart from the transformer) it has also been used extensively as a spares donor over the past four years.
Looking in an even worse state buffered up the 92 is Class 90, 90023 (stored July 2005). At least 92016 still has all its doors!
Also just visible in the background is the top of the No.1 End of 92007 "Schubert" (stored August 2011).

Taken also whilst on holiday in Shropshire. This beautiful scene was hidden from sight, but a bit of adventuring and an unusual standing place allowed me to capture this final photograph. Enjoy!
The reenactment featured costumed actors Henry Griggs, town historian and MHS trustee, as Captain Wilcox, and Will Cassidy, one of our youth volunteers, as the Marquis de Lafayette. Musical accompaniment will be offered by violinist Malcolm Littlefield of the Shoreline Fiddle Club. Other costumed youth volunteers will enthusiastically represent soldiers who gathered to see the famed Marquis as he passed through our town. Following this imagined historic meeting, we invited all attendees to a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Lee's Academy to mark our first official exhibition in our newly restored lower level, home of the Madison Center for History and Culture. MHS president Mark Edmiston cut the ribbon for this much-anticipated opening. The first exhibition features Revolutionary War-era items from our collection and our artifacts related to Lafayette and his American tour. Special thanks to MHS trustees Tricia Royston and Maryanne Harmuth and summer intern Clare Barnett for their curation of the displays.
In 1824, Lafayette toured the United States at the invitation of the United States Congress. His tour route began in New York, went north through Connecticut to Boston, and then continued around New England and back through Connecticut. He also visited Washington, D. C., and traveled throughout the American South.
