Another one from my archives, well loved, of myself standing in the amazing Cathedral of Jerez de la Frontera in Andalusia, with the most amazing light scenario I can imagine.

this incredible scenario can be found where Joekullsarlon glacier lake and its icebergs do meet the wild and stormy waters of the North Atlantic. Those two photographers were braving the outrageous winds and waves just like ourselves while photographing sparkling ice floes on the black volcanic beach

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The reservoir was created in 1950 after the construction of a dam between 1948 and 1950. Before the construction of this dam, there were three other lakes. In addition to Lake Reschen, these were Lake Mittersee and the nearby Lake Haider, which is located south of Lake Reschen.

As a result of the dam, the original village of Graun and a large part of Reschen were flooded. 163 houses were demolished and 523 hectares of land were flooded. Today, the church tower of Alt-Graun, the old village centre of Graun, protruding above the surface is a reminder of the former village.

In May 2021, the village was visible again for the first time in seventy years due to the low water level

We met and became a memory that can't be erased.

We took a wonderful stroll for several hours on Kapuzinerberg hill in Salzburg. The views over the town and surrounding Voralpenland landscape were amazing as was the weather complementing our birthday :) Here an image from the start of our walk which gave us interesting views over the rooftops of a part of the city.

Ó Mar salgado, quanto do teu sal

São lágrimas de Portugal!

Por te cruzarmos, quantas mães choraram,

Quantos filhos em vão rezaram!

Quantas noivas ficaram por casar

Para que fosses nosso, ó mar!

Valeu a pena? Tudo vale a pena

Se a alma não é pequena.

Quem quer passar além do Bojador

Tem que passar além da dor.

Deus ao mar o perigo e o abismo deu,

Mas nele é que espelhou o céu.

This is a scenario I have always wished I could have seen. Union Pacific has routed a director's special along the old Passenger Main in Salt Lake City from Buena Vista west of downtown. The City of Los Angeles and other premier UP trains took this same route.

UP 960 and siblings are pulling down the middle of 4th West at 8th South crossing with five cars. In less than five minutes, the train will stop at the Union Pacific passenger station at South Temple street.

These rails still exist, although they were abandoned in 1999. Utah Transit Authority owns the right of way, and plans to construct light rail here in time for the 2034 Winter Olympic Games.

Waking up early on a Sunday and texting a few friends brought me out to catch some of the last CSX trains from Flint, but, beforehand there was some good leaders on the CN. Kicking off the parade of trains on CN was this M397 heading west toward Battle Creek with SD60 5416 leading. Good friend Steven McKay had made mention of shooting in a curve, and that idea gave inspiration to do shot I've wanted to try for a little while, but I had figured it would not work that good. Well, as the title says, this was best case scenario, and I left happy with the result.

in my nightmares there are always two scenarios: storms, and secret hidden rooms that contain insanely bad evil.

in the storm nightmares i just can't escape the inevitable although I try to.

in the nightmares about the hidden rooms with evil in them, i start by pretending there's nothing wrong. but that never works because the evil begs to be recognized. i then try to appease it. I end up scared and overwhelmed and trying to protect whomever else is in the house with me. I'm always the only adult in these dreams, and i always have children to protect (not necessarily my children, sometimes they're children who in the dream have already died).

worst possible kind of day for taking pictures. wandered around all day and only took this one picture. still, it's worth having!

The cypresses of San Quirico d'Orcia are located on a hill overlooking the south part of the Via Cassia that crosses the northern part of the municipality of San Quirico d'Orcia, in "I Triboli". The trees are the symbol of nature and landscape, not only of the town and the area where they are located but also the whole of Tuscany.

Okay so don't take the title literally , the concept behind this photo is something very common and metaphorically its relevant . We are often captivated or held back by certain things and by this certain energy from doing what we love . It can be anything or anyone starting from family members to even your boss .Their can be thousands of scenarios where hundreds of people are living their lives in an ordinary way whilst they could make it extra-ordinary and in fact live it to the fullest . We should probably find , what's best or what we are great at or at least what makes us happy and when we find this one thing , we can easily do the extra-ordinary . It does not necessarily have be something extra- ordinary for others , only for ourselves will suffice . Although life and reality will keep on giving you bummers through your journey , but don't let these things hold you back from doing what you love . If the biggest scientists allowed themselves to be held back from doing what they did , we wouldn't have defied gravity and have gone to the moon or discovered other planets and may be we would never have had electricity . But they fought for what they believed in and see how our daily lives have become so easier . I cannot promise that freeing yourself from this energy will let you do things that are out of this world or will change the world , but I can assure you will , at the end of the day , find Happiness .
