he is a crow and his name is Otto. He sit's on a ships cabin door everyday. So they made a sign there which says "This is Otto, the cursed sailor"
Okay so maybe I had been a little shall we say startled with the offering of an impromptu night away due to the fact it's nearly Christmas.... and as a mum there's more than enough to organise and prepare for!
But to be honest it was just what I needed......the desolation and bleakness of a seaside town broken up with a few hardened tourists and the gleam of Christmas lights was truly calming and a quiet before the last minute rush ensues!
This was taken as the rain and mists rolled in....... and the scares of the sense of alone and forever a view such as this brings to me .......plus I didn't want to be slipping at a time like this!
A large crow found in the forests and countryside around the country. They are opportunistic predators and eat pretty much anything just like common crows. In the past, we sighted them eating chicks of other birds, catching lizards and even eating roadkill.
There were around 30-40 Steppe Eagles and a small number of Jungle Crows. The crows were trying to scare the much larger (twice the size or more) Eagles to turn them away from their area. But the Eagles were no in mood to listen. The crows had to beat a hasty retreat quickly.
