We hosted The Duke Of York as he and his team toured the #VicInnovationHub and met with LaunchVic, Medtech Actuator, Stone and Chalk, SproutX_ and Startmate plus startup residents.

ScaleUP students listening to a tutor at an event hosted by the School for Social Entrepreneurs at Blackburn House, Liverpool, attended by Rob Wilson MP, the Minister for Civil Society in the UK Government.
On Thursday 12th May, SSE Northwest will be visited by MP Rob Wilson, Minister for Civil Society to meet current Scale UP students and former PowerUP students who have been supported by the School for Social Entrepreneurs and Lloyds Banking Group.
The PowerUP programme is run in Liverpool and London by the School for Social Entrepreneurs to support young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to create positive social change. The 9-month programme, which was launched by Rob Wilson last year, is funded by the Cabinet Office and students on the programme receive a business mentor form Lloyds Banking Group. The Scale UP programme supports social entrepreneurs who wish to scale up their social business through a fully-funded learning course, financial grant and business mentor from Lloyds Banking Group.

O Parque Tecnológico de Belo Horizonte foi palco da realização da 4ª edição do ScaleUp inBrazil Business Rounds. O evento trouze para o BH-TEC um grupo de empresas de tecnologia de paÃses reconhecidos por sua liderança em inovação global, que buscam expandir suas operações aqui no Brasil.
O Scale Up inBrazil é uma iniciativa do governo federal, organizada pela ApexBrasil (Agência Brasileira de Promoção de Exportações e Investimentos) e pela ABVCAP (Associação Brasileira de Private Equity e Venture Capital), em colaboração com agências internacionais.
Nesta edição, o programa conta com a participação de 13 empresas de diversos setores da economia, vindas de Israel, Japão e Singapura.
