On September 28, 2017, OCE hosted a partnering forum bringing together potential collaborators on technology and demonstration projects and facilitate partnerships between start-ups/scale-ups and financial institutions.
This was offered under the new Cybersecurity Fintech Innovation Pilot Program (CFIPP), a one-year, $7.8-million initiative funded by the Ministry of Research, Innovation and Science (MRIS) and delivered by Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE) in collaboration with the Toronto Financial Services Alliance (TFSA).

CHF has received financial support from Caterpillar Foundation and used this to set up an additional collection program in a neighboring slum, Ambedkarnagar, to serve an additional 1,000 households and also households in adjacent communities covering 5 wards. Funds are also being used to install a bio-methanization unit.
