Quick mock up after laying down a base of silver today. I still need to do some work to get it lowered just right, and the body needs some attention to get the convertible boot to sit better.

Just a small section of the enormous (over 50 feet long) scale model that depicts the Mystic Seaport of 1870. It is built to the scale of 3/32 inch=1 foot, or 1/128th.

I ended up masking the center by adding narrow tape strips until the gaps were filled. I then went over the tape with a craft stick lightly to help burnish it down and seal up the edges as tight as possible.
