I made this scale using the pieces on the left (part of the 1/24th tea room I'm making). I'm amazed by whoever designs these kits!
One of Lake State Railway's new road slug sets is seen through the window of what remains of the scale house in the old D&M yard at Alpena.
The red and yellow marking on top of the cockpit is consistent with full scale X-wing used on Dagobah but not with the model.... On the other hand, the tan-painted engine intake (which is striped, as the original, but you can barely see it on the photo), was borrowed straight from the studio model - the full scale mockup had... a red stripe on the right engine intake. Go figure.

The scale in my local chemist, Cloyne Care Plus. It is fairly accurate, gives same weight as my home digital scale. It has a coin slot, but no money needed. These large stand on scales are becoming rare, this one is before the Euro. It offers weight in stones = 14 pounds for each.
The highest waterfall in the Lake District is Scale Force with a single drop of 170 ft, and two others of about 20 ft. It is hidden away in a deep tree-lined gorge on the way from Crummock Water to Red Pike on land owned by the National Trust.

People are going to accuse me of compensating for something.
Inside an abandoned market booth, a forgotten shopping scale lies on the floor, dust-covered and silent, like the last trace of something that once was.

I wanted to make a Team Fortress 2 payload for my figs. I didn't realize it was way out of minifig scale until I placed it next to my sentry. It didn't seem that big when I was building it...
