It's not pretty, it's Thumb and Scale by Ben Hall in the foreground at the EAF 2012 exhibit at Socrates Sculpture Park.
Anyone know what this could be? Not only are his eyes an unusual shape, it looks like the scales on top of his head are damaged.

I like how the streaking of the black logo came out. That's just black chalk applied to a barely damp car side.
I believe that Scala is one of the oldest towns on the Amalfi Coast and it certainly has many interesting pockets and corners

So I saw this on Kijiji for a really good price, but didn't open it up till like a month after I picked it up. Unfortunately, I only recently realized why it was so cheap - not that it was fake or anything, but that it was missing the Ahoge, or basically that one stray hair that's on the top of the head.
Anyway, this is the Aniplex Fate Stay/Night 10th Royal Dress. A 1/7 scale statue that, well, has our favourite Saber in basically a wedding dress. Perhaps this is from one of the endings of the visual novel/anime. I honestly have no idea... I just see cheap Fate stuff and I buy it.
Presuming this was the first run, the statue was released in 2015. I'm still not overly familiar with Aniplex product, and I think I have like one thing, the only Anieplex I have is the BuzzMOD 2B, so I haven't a clue if their scale statues are still like this.
Having said all that, honestly, it's just an OK statue. I've seen older statues with far better detailing and paintwork than this one. The overall sculpt is.. alright. It's not going to win any awards but man did they take away her curves. Also, the face is very... average. It's not the lack of expression, but rather it just all looks very by the books, with no real life to it. The same can be said for the sculpting on the rest of the body.
This bridal dress themed figure comes with a bouquet which, like the body, is adequately detailing and finished, but isn't exactly going to win any praise from me.
This is technically a cast off statue, with the ability to remove the dress and display her in just with undergarments on her lower body. Due to the sculpt, and possibly QC, the corset overhangs the waist by quite a bit and the gap itself is kind of big. While seeing Sabers intimates is a nice treat, again the lack of curves any any real sculpting detailing makes this a rather pedestrian experience.
Paint work isn't bad. It's again, not going to win any awards, but it is relatively crisp and clean. I do like the subtle shading on the dress itself Build is again, pretty typical. There's that ugly gap, and also the hands should have had a tighter grip on the bouquet.
This pic was taken at the annual AMRA WA model railway exhibition which was held at the Claremont showgrounds in May / June 2015 , this pic shows my N scale CPH railmotor about to cross the bridge on my layout called "Howitzdun".
