The Big Telecoms are all spying on each of us on the unconstitutional behalf of our government, which Obama will never do anything about, & they are giving huge sums of payola to our congressional representatives & senators, many of whom lie criminally in bed with them, where, yes, whores & Johns that they are, They feel each other up.
You might want to address an email to the Great American Brothel - that is, Washington, DC - or you might prefer to feel helpless & hopeless, & await the certain & unpleasant fate that these entwined vipers will soon enough bring to you in forms much worse than the ones already slapping your face.
Questions answered by opening the link below:
SAVE THE INTERNET
What is this about?
What is Net Neutrality?
Who wants to get rid of Net Neutrality?
Is Net Neutrality a new regulation?
Isn't the threat to Net Neutrality just hypothetical?
Isn't this just a battle between giant corporations?
What else are the phone and cable companies not telling the truth about?
What's at stake if we lose Net Neutrality?
What's happening in Congress?
Who's part of the SavetheInternet.com Coalition?
Who else supports Net Neutrality?
What can I do to help?
WHAT I wrote to my congressman, Rep. Rick Larsen (D) WA, because he sneakily sent a letter to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) opposing net neutrality:
FCC: Stand Firm for Net Neutrality
Dear Rep. Rick Larsen:
Net neutrality is to the internet what freedom to express, print & distribute information & opinion is to the press. Opposition to net neutrality in order to obtain campaign funds or other perks from corporations & their lobbyists is not really any legislator's assertion of opinion, as some legislators pretend, but is a crime against the republic.
Make net neutrality permanent. Support net neutrality or lose my support & the support of everyone I know. A nation in which corporations dictate the formation of public policy & legislation of that policy into law by corrupting its politicians is ... well, how would you finish this sentence, Mr. Larsen?
Sincerely ...
Washington DC, November 6, 2014. Social justice activists affiliated with Creative Resistance, freepress, DemandProgress, Fight For The Future and other groups rallied in front of the White House this evening in support of net neutrality and against the latest plans by the FCC to sneak in* 'pay for play' fast lanes for content providers and consumers, stranding those who can't pay in slow lanes. Over four million people have spoken out against this odious proposal. Even our Disappointer In Chief Barack Obama has gone on the record in favor of continued net neutrality. The style of the action this evening was inspired by a recent rally in Budapest Hungary, where thousands gathered with shimmering digital devices held aloft in protest of proposed additional charges for data access. The powers that be in Hungary backed down.
*FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler, a former telecom lobbyist, has refused to allow open public hearings on the proposed changes. The details of the latest FCC so-called Net Neutrality plan were leaked, not released.

Uploadfilter vs. Water Filter...
Protest against parts of the planned EU copyright reform, which will soon be adopted by the European Parliament.
The proposed reform could severely restrict the free Internet. Even the smallest companies would have to use error-prone and technically immature upload filters for all their content (Article 13/ new number 17) and acquire licenses for minimal text excerpts from press products to comply with the so-called ancillary copyright for press publishers (Article 11, new number 15). Furthermore because of Article 12 creators and authors have a worse negotiation position than before towards publishers. This could significantly affect the freedom of opinion, art and the press.
Therefore I ask you ...
... to contact the Members of the European Parliament and to inform them about your position on the planned reform.
... to participate in the demonstrations that will take place on March 23rd, 2019 throughout Europe.
... to participate in the election of the European Parliament on 23–26 May 2019.
Thank you.

Washington DC, May 15, 2014. Social justice activists rally in front of the FCC to oppose proposed net neutrality rule changes that would essentially end the free and open internet which has worked miraculously well for almost twenty years now. Shortly after noon the FCC voted in favor of considering the odious changes allowing 'pay for play' fast lanes in the internet (and the implied threat of slower speed diminished service for those who don't pony up...), subject to "public comment" which you know will be a sham exercise leading to an already determined conclusion in favor of the big telecoms. This plan was so evil even Amazon and Microsoft signed off on a letter to the FCC opposing it (Apple was missing in action...) but I'm sure it was not for altruistic reasons. Hopefully 'cable' and TV sets will soon be a thing of the past.

"Message from Mary S.: The future of the Internet as we know it is at stake. The FCC is proposing rules that would kill the open Internet and create a fast lane for companies that can afford big fees and a slow dirt road for the rest of us. We're fighting back--and we're being heard. This Thursday, May 15, the FCC will meet in Washington, DC, to vote on whether or not to advance this proposal. We'll rally in DC, but we won't stop there: We'll gather at FCC offices in 24 cities to send shockwaves through the FCC bureaucracy until they restore real Net Neutrality and protect the Internet for all of us."

Hopefully 'cable' and TV sets will soon be a thing of the past.
