Why are we not understanding that we are creating these fires through our lack of environmental care? Don't we realize that we are killing ourselves, our children, our wildlife, habitat, and maybe even our future? A beautiful healthy environment is a lot richer than making pollution with greedy dollars!

We have to find love and if we look around us at the beauty that surrounds us, surely we can feel the positive vibes and share them. Here in Florida, we have many beautiful flowers, as does the whole world, but it is so important to recognize, appreciate, enjoy, and share our feelings of the wealth of beauty we have. We need to change from division to inclusion, and love and respect one another.

I am reminded by my cousin, Lindsey Ulanowsky, about Albert Einstein having once famously said that “if the bee disappeared off the face of the Earth, man would only have four years left to live”. They are so important for our biodiversity and food production (yes including chocolate)!
Today is world bee 🐝 day the theme is “ Bee engaged”. We can all make a difference to help!
🐝Planting bee-friendly plants like heather and daisies and red clover on balconies, terraces, and in gardens can help
🐝Leaving sections of the garden wild and letting the grass grow long gives the bees a place to shelter
🐝make a bee hotel for your garden's bee population
🐝Leaving a small dish with a few pebbles and shallow water in can help if a bee is thirsty
🐝There are also special bricks which bees can live in
🐝Don't use pesticides as they are really harmful to bees
🐝Buy honey and other hive products from your nearest local beekeeper

The more wars we have, and the less we look after our planet the more refugees we have! Are we completely oblivious to everything? We overlook equality, human rights, environmental disasters, is it just because we are not being affected? We must take action! I do really wonder though, whether it is already too late?

Today I am starting a new theme suggested by my good friend, Ellen Gould who asked that I do a series of flags for various nations: The nation of trees, the nation of water, the Universe, The Earth and one for the nation of the sky, the nation of wind, for each of the planets, stars, flowers, animal kingdom, and perhaps a flag for humanity. Below are my first set of flags, they are A Love Song to the Earth, For the Love of Birds, Nature's Symphony, The Beauty of Raindrops, Appreciating the Beauty of the Sky and Finding the Wonder in Trees. When are we going to care for our environment and heed nature thereby lessening these increasing and more violent storms?
As I have said before:
We the people can and should act now to help prevent the inevitable destruction caused by us. We cannot afford to keep on ignoring it. We have already created a crisis that we could have prevented and we only have ourselves to blame.
The loss of life, cities, homes, food, animal life is beyond imagination and this year, in particular, has created even more havoc. It is time to sit down and study the facts and the possibility of being responsible and good guardians and try and learn fully how to look after not abuse our globe.

We still have many egrets here, but as the years go by I see fewer which saddens me because we just don't seem to cafe about climate change and I cannot understand for the life of me why? This particular egret I considered a friend, until the day sadly they no longer came around.
