It's time for my monthly donation to fight Putin and Xi and all their cronies.

Ukraine is not doing well lately and I couldn't decide if I should support their military, humanitarian causes or on a more "street level" support. I decided to give to all three:

1) to the military via Savelife.in.ua

2) to humanitarian causes via Canada-Ukraine Foundation

3) to ordinary Ukrainian citizens via Dutch food truck duos Franky en Coen, who periodically drive their food truck all the way from the Netherlands to Ukraine to distribute free comfort food

My January 2024 donation to Ukraine.

I actually made two donations to Ukraine in January to "celebrate" the New Year. This is the second of two. I've been making monthly donation to Ukraine since February 2022. Including the two donations this month, I've donated over CAD $11,000 to fight Putin, that is over USD $8,100 or £ 6,400 or EUR 7,500.

Geez, I could have bought myself a very nice platinum diamond bracelet with that much money, which I had always wanted. But for now, my platinum diamond bracelet must wait. Ukraine first.

Forgot to post the October 2023 monthly donation to Ukraine.

save the trees, save lives, save the world

During this month Russia killed more then 50 people in singular strike on funeral in town Hroza. Yesterday they killed 6 and injured 14 in strike on post terminal. War is far from over. Please donate to Come back alive, support the cause.

I've had a lot of spending this month (September 2024), so I had to curtail the donation for Ukraine a bit.

But a Canadian charity is matching donations made via the Canada-Ukraine Foundation up to CAD $100,000. So I made a CAD $200 donation there, and a USD $200 donation to the Savelife.in.ua NGO.

This night Ukraine was stroke again with drones and missiles. Along with other targets russians tried to destroy yet another dam on Dnipro river. This is the result of U.S. indecisiveness in providing lethal aid. Please call your representatives and ask to ramp up support and donate to the cause: savelife.in.ua/en/donate-en/
