Stavo facendo il censimento degli uccelli svernanti per la mia regione e vedere una specie così rara, almeno per noi abruzzesi, è stata davvero una fortuna. Really struggled to think of something original and different for this theme on Crazy Tuesday. I tried a few different ideas but none of them seemed to work, especially not to my satisfaction.
Gave up for a while and decided, mid-afternoon to boil an egg as a snack as feeling a bit peckish and whilst the water was boiling away, the thought struck me that maybe there might be a suitable ‘motion blur’ shot in the pan, not just the egg!
I took some shots and, lo and behold I arrived at some images that might prove suitable, I thought. I chose this one and after a little cropping decided that it was different and in my mind, quite original. The water surface appears smoothed out, adopting an oily look and getting rid of the individual bubbles, small and big. In my mind it looks a bit like transparent lava in the mouth of a volcanic crater! I know, I have a weird brain!

It is a truly magnificent thing, a testament to the generosity and kindness that exists within us all. When we give to others, we are not only helping them, but we are also helping ourselves. Atticus sure loves it here..fresh mountain air, a new ball and just being outdoors. In his opinion, no comparison to our city living when we aren't here.
My dog very satisfied after drinking virgin water of a little hill we climbed at July on our holidays. It was a hot day so we decided to climb the hill to get a bit of that delicious and refreshing water. It was very tasty!

This common Gallinule seems oblivious of who's lurking in the background. Maybe the gator has all ready eaten one of it's competitor's and for the time being it's basking in smug confidence and smug satisfaction. This is not a duck but a Common Gallinule which is a blackish, chicken like marsh bird.
The age of contentment - the turning point in life at which one obtaines financial freedom, rising salaries, climbing of ‘corporate’ ladders, being debt free and not worrying about what others think.

Le jardin Yili, situé à Saint-Rémy-l'Honoré (Yvelines), est le premier et unique jardin traditionnel chinois privé de France. Un lieu unique, emprunt de spiritualité. D’immenses sculptures minérales naturelles sont présentes tout au long du chemin. Toutes gravées d’idéogrammes, ces pierres, comme l’ensemble des monuments du jardin, portent un nom :
« C’est la tradition. Si une pierre ou tout élément naturel ne porte pas de nom, cela veut dire qu’elle n’a pas d’âme. »

The Yili garden, located in Saint-Rémy-l'Honoré (Yvelines), is the first and only private traditional Chinese garden in France. A unique place, full of spirituality. Huge natural mineral sculptures are present all along the way. All engraved with ideograms, these stones, like all the monuments in the garden, have a name:
“It's tradition. If a stone or any natural element does not have a name, it means it has no soul. "
