I thought this bench was a hoot when I stumbled upon it in this photo taken last fall during a PDX [portland] Flickr photowalk. So I had to go find it myself.

Actually, no sarcasm intended: I rather like the industrial look, though I do hope more of the South Knoxville waterfront successfully makes some room for some dense, walkable residential bits. If that means these tanks must go, so be it. However it would be awesome to convert them into flats. I would totally live in one of them.

I draws what I likes and I likes what I drew
No remuneration do I ask of you
But me cap would be glad of a copper or two

Today I am editing sound files and let me tell you, this is possibly the most interesting work a person could have. Listening to the same person ask the same question 300 times - believe me, it's just special.
Sadly tho, it's Friday and soon I will have to leave the voice overs behind and spend a joyous weekend repeating last weekend. Now that I've finally got the first computer (mostly) dialed back in and my life is starting to get back to normal it's time to turn things upside down again by working on the second computer. The only sad news is I won't have time to do the really fun stuff like mopping the floors and doing the laundry. I guess I'll just have to save those for next week - but hey! Something to look forward to!
Hope your weekend plans are as exciting as mine and if not, well, plaster a smile on your face and fake it. Who knows? Maybe if you do it long enough you'll begin to believe it.
