The view towards the town of Oia in Santorini with one of its famous bells on the cliff face.
Did not shoot too many details in Santorini. Sometimes I get lost in the over all view. This is one of the rare exeptions. A part of the old castle and a church wich is not painted blue and white, just a little different from the normal Santorini look.
Santorini ( officially Thira); is an island in the southern Aegean Sea, about 200 km (120 mi) southeast of Greece's mainland. It is the largest island of a small, circular archipelago which bears the same name and is the remnant of a volcanic caldera.
Santorini Island in the south Aegean Sea, Greece, was named for the Macedonian martyr Saint Irene (Santa Irina). The island's capital Fira sits atop a cliff on the west coast.
