Foggy night wandering around the old city, and you might encounter this view.
The Powder Tower (Prašná brána) in Prague.
One of the most sifnificant monuments of Late Gothic.
Construction started in 1475 with king Vladislav II, as one of the 13 city gates.
This was also the place where the start of the coronation processions of Bohemian kings would enter the town on their Royal Path to the Prague Castle.
The Powder Tower bears its name because of the gunpowder, that used to be stored there since the 18th century
The Tower is 65 m high and one of the main attractions of the city today.

....inserisco un’altra mia ripresa “rubata”. Questa immagine è stata effettuata presso l’Ospedale Ingrassia a Palermo durante una visita ad un caro amico di famiglia. Mi si è presentata questa scena. Una persona legata al letto per evitare di farlo alzare. Ho realizzato diversi scatti sia per documentare l’accaduto ma anche per avere un ricordo della persona. Infatti, con rammarico, il giorno dopo ho appreso dalla moglie il decesso. Sono rimasto molto turbato ed addolorato e quasi mi sentivo in colpa per avere effettuato le riprese. Solo qualche giorno fa ho rivelato le immagini alla moglie chiedendo se potevo pubblicare qualcosa,….naturalmente, conoscendomi la signora, ho ottenuto il consenso. Spero che l’immagine e le parole che ho scritto e che l'accompagnano possano suscitare una grande emozione come è successo a me, durante e dopo lo scatto. Anche questa immagine farà parte della prossima mostra sulle persone trascurate, abbandonate negli ospizi, nelle case di cura.... etccc

l’abbraccio freddo del nulla

al tuo caro amico… quasi un padre,
o un’ultima carezza
d’un amico sincero.
Con gli occhi sbarrati
rivolti nel vuoto e…
lentamente si dissolve il mondo
di vacue figure attorno
il bianco prende il sopravvento.
Era un non essere lì,
un niente….oppure tutto
vai a diventar più forte
vai a rincontrar l’amico sincero.
Cade l’ultima barrier di velo
nell’incredibile moto del tunnel
interminabili spazi s’aprono
nell’etereo pensiero del mistero.
Ecco,…. la luce dell’infinito
t’avvolge di gioie….oramai…
non più ombre nascoste,
è giunto il momento,
….ora anche il tempo tace.

With wide eyes
facing into the void and…
the world slowly dissolves
of empty figures around
white takes over.
It was a not being there,
nothing... or everything
go get stronger
go and meet your sincere friend again.
The last veil barrier falls
in the incredible motion of the tunnel
interminable spaces open up
in the ethereal thought of mystery.
Here you are,…. the light of infinity
it envelops you in joy...now...
no more hidden shadows,
the time has come,
…now even time is silent.

This image is from a report in continuous evolution that I am making in the search for specific faces expressing particular feelings, scenes of environmental emphasis, expressions and deep feelings conveyed through simple look, a particular posture of the body or even from simple clothes and decorations individuals.

These images will be collected in a "Artistic Photography Technical Manual" which will describe the special filming techniques, materials, photographic equipment, sites and scenic environmental conditions.
