First sample pictures taken with the new Canon Zoom Lens 70-200mm 1:2.8 L IS II USM, and Extender EF 2x II. They were taken at approx 1 meter away, and they were at 400mm zoom. By far the best lens I ever owned. The focus is crystal clear, and extremely fast.

In 1969Junior Samples joined the cast of the country variety show “Hee-Haw." He developed a character made famous by his bumbling delivery often forgetting lines and messing up jokes. His most famous role was a used car salesman inviting potential customers to call his phone number, “BR-549.” He released several comedy albums and was twice nominated as “Comedian of the Year” by the Country Music Association. He remained a star on Hee-Haw until he died of a heart attack at the age of fifty-seven on November 13, 1983. He is buried in the Sawnee View Gardens in Cumming, Georgia.
Though I don't know what to do with the samples I make, I can't seem to stop making them. Maybe someday I'll progress into a bigger creation. If not, maybe I'll sew them all together and make a little blanket.

Thursday....had to go to Belfast and if you have perused here at all, you know this for me is a photographic adventure, but not today. I felt like pooh, fluey, and my wee cam surfaced only for a few shots.
I had an appointment at Musgrave for a joint injection and spent a very relaxing 4 hours there (mean that, i had a great book with me) waiting for a jab that never happened.
Doc read my x-rays,told me there was nothing between hip bone and socket to inject anything into so a rubber hip thingy is now on the cards within the next 6 months. Guessed that was coming so i don't entirely mind but...
....got home and was hit with a sinusey infection like i was levelled! PLEURGH! If someone had said, 'fancy euthenasia?', i would have said 'make it a double!' Today is the first day i have felt human in any way since Wednesday and i feel a bit wobbly yet. No photo rambles this weekend.....and the sunset last night was spectacular on the mountains behind. I looked out the bedroom window and purely yearned.
