Flower Themes - TWO of the same flower - Week 1040

Same photo but utilising multiple shots at different focal points, and blended as a stacked photo in photoshop. I think it is much better. There is an excellent article in Digital Photography School about focus stacking. All new territory for me.

its done i guess...idk..ill clean it up eventually..it tears apart, not like a real one, but enough so you can mod it to your pleasure, hope ya like...no white shapes..and one note too read it please

Same as the previous upload, except this time I altered the exposure and managed to catch some pretty sweet water flow.

from the bottom now, are they small or are they big?

Tutufa is a genus of sea snails, marine gastropod mollusks in the family Bursidae, the frog shells.

Photography can play games with our visual perception, LOL

A series of ‘nautical’ subjects. It can be anything, just seeing different scenes that attracted my attention.

Same pink as last year which was nice to see. In Brisbane Water National Park on the road to Patonga, NSW on the Central Coast.

Same as before, now with thunderstorm.

Same bird as the other Manx photo. Shows it in flight, with the splashes from its feet.

The physical presence of Shoreham seemed the same when I took this shot on October 7, 1990 but it looked far from the SOO I was used to. We have 325 sitting with stacks capped with MILW 2009 resting behind. Off to the left is either 701 or 705 one of the pair of GP30's WC didn't want, both had been out of service since early-mid 1987. To the right of 2009's rear end you can make out one of the EMD leasing SD35's commonly called "bricks" by local fans resting in the roundhouse and just in the frame to the right is one of a couple ex BN SD45's that SOO had bought for parts but then upon finding them in better condition then expected returned them to service for relatively short while due to a power shortage.

Even though the names seem different,

they are the same thing if you look at it closely.

Same bird, different crab. I made a circle around the big island west of Alligator Alley on Horsepen Bayou and the same Yellow-crowned Night Heron from yesterday's post was still on the hunt and still chowing down on blue crabs. It was having a good morning and I had no complaints either.

Same place as before (please look at my stream), still enthusiastically testing my Tamron 17 mm.

A passageway (sort of a passion of mine ;-)) underneath a hotel near my place of work.

I apologise for the unimaginative title. Alternative, not less unimaginative suggestions are "silver lining", "light at the end of the tunnel" and "dark tunnel with big round light" ;-)

This image is two exposures: one shot for the tree and sky and one shot of the moon. I was standing in the same position for both shots and used the same focal length. I just had to use a different shutter speed for the moon because it's so bright :)

Same Veyron that was hit in NYC. All fixed with a dash of chrome

Same shot as last week. But I lowered the clarity a lot and inverted it.

Because of my angle to the water the reflected kid looks different from the other kid. The stick ie looks like it has been moved. A Lucky Luke effect:p

The eye is tricked because it thinks the line of level should be the pier. Funny. I did not get it when I shot it.

I have to investigate this further.

Not a great deal of difference but the colour tones seem more vibrant and you can ajust the perspective so the picture is balanced. As you can see I only have basic editing software but it's good enough for my needs.
