Who says grizzlies hibernate in the winter? This is Sam, a very personable grizzly located at the Grizzly, Wolf and Discovery Center in West Yellowstone, MT. www.grizzlydiscoveryctr.org.
This not for profit center is a wonderful place to visit. For $10/two days you can't beat it. Kids will love it and you won't have to fight the crowds or park rangers when you try to get photos. The staff were extremely friendly. Highly recommended. I love Sams bottom lip! He doesn't have red eyes, but he had blood-shot eyes. Perhaps from being woke up;-)
I only briefly met Sam at the Streetmeet before we got separated. She uses her camera too though (@sideflies)

Last year Sam Roberts had his set cut short by a lightning storm. This year he returned to Rock The Shores to kick mother nature's ass.
Had a very mellow Sunday. Met up with a couple friends for pho in Chinatown, wandered around Kensington Market, then headed over to the Sam James Coffee Bar for a delicious evening Americano. (I recommend trying out Sam James if you're ever in the area - Harbord and Clinton St. near K-Town.) Finished the night off with a healthy dose of Chapters loitering and a light meal at The Healthy Greek.
