As the sun sets over Lake Rotoroa, or also called The Hamilton Lake Domain, ( it is a lake in Hamilton, Waikato, North Island, New Zealand.)
Salute cannon high above the roofs, in the castle park of Schärding, Upper Austria, view of the Neuhauser Klosterschule framed in autumn colors, on the Bavarian side of the river Inn.
one of my favorite spots in venezia. i sat for many hours on the steps of the salute, around the tip of island, the dogana, piazzetta and palazzo ducale just across the canal grande. this exposure was made from giudecca on a typical early summer afternoon.

The photos that I publish these days are photos taken from my archive, this is to tell you: I STAY AT HOME, because the Italy of the Corona virus is not the photo of a deserted square or of the empty bar tables or the shutters of the lowered shops , Italy of the corona virus is: I REMAIN HOME for the good of all!
I STAY HOME for the respect of doctors, anesthesiologists, nurses and all those who, in this sad moment, work day and night for the health of all of us!

Duftek is another awesome Knoxville area photographer. We also shoot in the same areas and he gave me(he doesn’t know it yet) the inspiration to do long exposure shots and HDR’s of waterfalls and nature shots. Santa Maria della Salute (English: Saint Mary of Health), commonly known simply as the Salute, is a Roman Catholic church and minor basilica located at Punta della Dogana in the Dorsoduro sestiere of the city of Venice, Italy.
It stands on the narrow finger of Punta della Dogana, between the Grand Canal and the Giudecca Canal, at the Bacino di San Marco, making the church visible when entering the Piazza San Marco from the water. The Salute is part of the parish of the Gesuati and is the most recent of the so-called plague churches.
