A wonderful collection: these aren`t cut-out advertisements from magazines, but 25 marketing materials: small DIN-A4 posters from Hohenwestedt, the former Lego headquarter. They came from a woman who worked in sales promotion there. Glossy prints on high quality paper from the early 90s, but unfortunately punched by her. Some motifs I already knew, some I didn't. I'll scan them.

Promoting 'Strongbow Sparkling Cloudy Cider' in Liverpool city centre

Promo girls handing out free samples of cinnamon buns on behalf of Cinnabon, prior to the opening their new shop premises on Liverpool Central Station.
They are an American chain and apparently are set to open 150 stores in the UK over the next five years after striking a deal with petrol forecourt giant EG Group.
My box contained the classic roll, very ice too !

Back when my dad was the sales manager of a large printing company in Detroit, one of his accounts was Olsonite. They made toilet seats. This swizzle Stick has a toilet seat on one end and an old style toilet brush on the other. On the other side of the seat is their catch phrase, “Tops for Bottoms.”
This plastic cup was designed to look like a paper cup. Ingles used a quite clever graphic design, which was converted into a 3-dimensional Xograph by Motion Imaging Inc. As one rotates the cup, images change entirely. This old pickup becomes a huge over the road tracktor-trailer, for instance. Hard to see the 3-D here, but you might get a sense of how it actually appears.

Mark Ryden's Dodecahedron exhibition is coming to the Paul Kasmin Gallery in New York City this month. I'm on Mark's
mailing list and got two halfs of a large dodecahedron. Across the entire piece is about 12 inches, not including the folding tabs. Shot with my LG Escape 2. Tweaked using the Aviary app. l am going to construct this item tonight. Enjoy!
Nice looking design for a product demo project, I imagine. It works well because it's simple and direct.

I'm not sure what the promotion was all about, but as well as the blondes there was also a cameraman (pictured) and a sound guy. All suggestions taken seriously!
So I broke out one of my wonderful Christmas gifts this morning.
It's what my father would have called "unmentionables". But he was a shy and most proper man.
When shopping I failed to notice this tag. Today I got a good giggle out of it and broke out the camera.
10 hours or so later I regard this as sales speak for "This thing is gonna squash yer ribs."
