Wallilabou Bay is located on the North West coast of St Vincent. The small bay consists of a black sand beach, a small hotel, customs office, two small boat docks and sheltered moorings.
There is a beautiful natural stone arch at the entrance to the bay which is also good for snorkelling. Wallilabou Bay was the main Caribbean location for all the "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies.
It's cold, windy and snowy today, and everything looks like a black and white movie, so I decided to dream a little about the Caribbean.

I saw this bird on the Island of Grenada but have been unable to identify it. It looks like a finch of some sort. Any help appreciated.
Boo Lefou kept stealing Bailey's flowers off the table, so I just couldn't resist. After all, pretty boys can wear flowers too! LOL
Looking at all the mountains of snow outside, I needed a little taste of Spring!

Transparent hands were at my neck,
But I love the way you let me breathe instead.
Take in your chemicals,
You are a miracle,
And I'm not spiritual,
But please stay,
'Cause you're a glimpse of bliss, a little taste of heaven.
I said,
You give me something to talk about, something to talk about.
I said,
You give me something to think about that's not the shit in my head.
You're a miracle.
You're a miracle.
A miracle.

Be quick ya lads and lasses!
Our wee wench Tupper has found the pot of gold and she's keepin' it safe for now, but them pesky leprechauns are gainin' ground on the pretty lass.
Now ye know how these naughty fairies are. And once they get their greedy hands back on the treasure, there's no tellin' what indecent shenanigans these dreadful jackeens have planned for the lil' minx!
Meanwhile, I've got a couple of blessins' for ye on this fine Saint Patrick's Day and here it goes.
As you slide down the banister of life,
May the splinters never point the wrong way
Alright alright, just a lil' fun there but here we are with something closer to the heart.
May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life's passing seasons bring the best to you and yours!

Interrompo la serie londinese per fare gli auguri a mio nipote e a tutti i Patrick presenti in Flickr!
Merry st.Patrick's day!
The shamrock is an Irish national symbol. The shamrock is a young clover plant with three leaves. The word shamrock is the English spelling of the Irish word seamróg, a shortening of seamair óg, which means young clover. The shamrock was, according to legend, used by Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland and the person who brought Christianity to Ireland, to explain the divine Trinity. Later the shamrock became an unofficial symbol of Ireland. (The official symbol is the harp).
Far and away from the Emerald Isles, a distant second place. A quiet home of light, nestled amongst the rolling green of ripening wheat and broken sunlight (just east of Walla Walla, Washington).
Happy Saint Patrick’s Day, to all!!

Oh noooo! Ya didn't did ye?! Get through a whole blessed Saint Patrick's Day and not get a blessin' bestowed on ye on such a glorious day!? Oh no ye didn't!
Well there's been some shenanigans goin on this year at the end of the rainbow. But through all the drinkin', the grabbin', and all the black eyes given' here's a little ditty for ye on this Saint Patrick's Day.
May love and laughter
light your days
and warm your heart
and home,
may good and faithful
friends be yours
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty
bless your world
with joy that long endures,
may all life's
passing seasons
bring the best
to you and yours.
Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

Taken in San Francisco on St Patrick’s Day 2021. It used to be that the streets were crowded at this time of the morning, but not anymore. Shot with Olympus XA 2 and Kodak Tri-x and developed in XTOL 1+1 at 20c for 8.5 minutes.
At odds (are)
some moments in the day
with the other,
one or two words in a sentence
with the other, and
the relation of one element
with its environment.

This is my first post with my new Canon 6D - have finally succumbed to full frame and the red rings! X2 extender on the 70-200mm 2.8 IS to get this shot. The 2 Cathedrals are a well known feature of the skyline in Armagh City. They are illuminated green for St. Patrick's day on the 17th March. Light just fading in the blue hour to keep a bit of interest in the sky overhead.
