Another beautiful sunset in Sint Maarten. A wave crashes in front of me with a ship and sailboat on the Caribbean Sea horizon. This was taken from Maho Beach. The Dutch side of the island. #SintMaarten #SaintMartin #MahoBeach #MahoBay #CaribbeanSea #sunset #ship #boat #splash #wave #surf #日没
A 2004 photo from Pic Paradis, the highest mountain on the island of Saint Maarten. This view is looking out over the Dutch Quarter toward Philipsburg, the capital of St. Maarten with one cruise ship in Great Bay.
Le chemin semble très bien dégagé et agréable à pratiquer, je suis bien chaussée, équipée d'un sac à dos, d'une gourde d'eau fraiche, d'un bob et de crème solaire
Soulis: Saint Martin is part of the Leeward Islands in the Caribbean Sea. It comprises 2 separate countries, divided between its northern French side, called Saint-Martin (with capital Marigot), and its southern Dutch side, Sint Maarten (with capital Philipsburg). The island is home to busy resort beaches and secluded coves. It's also known for fusion cuisine, vibrant nightlife and duty-free shops selling jewelry and liquor.
Début d'une longue et intense journée, par un "timide" lever de soleil à 6h15 (après près de 20 mn de route et une attente d'un demi heure)

This photo was taken from Saint Martin Island, specifically from the Java restaurant in Grand Case, on the evening of February 27, 2023 at around 7:20 pm local time. Absolutely was not prepared for it, so photos done using cellphone. Post processing were done on Photoshop and Topaz AI.
The photo captures the SpaceX, launching first Starlink v2 Mini satellites into orbit. The SpaceX Launch was from Cape Canaveral in Florida, which is located approximately 1,300 miles (2,000 km) from Saint Martin Island.
The photo captures the beauty of the rocket plume as it glows and reflects sunlight from high altitudes. The plume appears as a bright, luminescent trail that arcs across the sky, creating a stark contrast against the darkness of the night sky. This effect called Space jellyfish (or jellyfish UFO or rocket jellyfish or in the Google easy search SpaceX jellyfish).
Looks like this is new attraction on Caribbean islands now!

Location - Saintmartin, Bangladesh.
Memory of some waves caught at la belle créole. This spot is generally very calm, but when the North swell comes around you can watch some nice waves.
For history, La belle créole location used to be an hotel but it was destroyed twice by mother Nature. There's also a legend saying that because the hotel was build on an ancient indians Arawaks graveyard, the hotel was cursed and bound to be always destroyed.
Now the site is deserted, where Nature took over everything and locals spend times on the beach. It's like Le gallion, so very secure for children.
