Fraser's Dolphins are found in deep, tropical waters worldwide. They are active swimmers and are usually found in groups of 10 to 100 individuals, but they sometimes travel in groups of up to 1,000. Fraser’s Dolphins were first identified from a mislabelled skeleton in 1956 and only “rediscovered” in the wild in the 1970s. Other names are: White-bellied Dolphin, Bornean Dolphin, Sarawak Dolphin, Shortsnout Dolphin. These dolphins were seen off St Lucia in the Caribbean.

Saint Lucy's Day, also called the Feast of Saint Lucy, is a Christian feast day observed on 13 December. In Scandinavia (as late as until the mid 18th century) this date was the longest night of the year, coinciding with Winter Solstice). In Sweden and Swedish-speaking regions of Finland as well in Norway and Denmark, songs are sung and girls dressed as Saint Lucia carry cookies and saffron buns in procession, which symbolizes bringing the Light of Christ into the world's darkness.
