Today we celebrate one year since our first meeting and today we said "I do". The month have flown by in the blink of an eye. Thank you sooo much for choosing to share your life with me. I love you sooo endlessly 💋💕💘

I believe it is safe to say that butterfly season has begun. There are several beautiful monarchs flitting about the yard. I counted five in the yard but there were others in the neighboring yards. Giant swallowtails, zebra longwings, gulf fritillaries, and sulfurs have also been visiting. And of course, I released several Polydamas swallowtails that awoke from their winter slumber.
With that being said, now that it is March I have officially started collecting eggs and caterpillars to raise. I do believe it shall be a glorious summer of life and color.

I said I was going to get some fresh air this weekend - and I did. I may even have gotten an overdose when I went to the West Coast during the storm on Sunday. But I did manage to take some pictures. This is the first one - I still need to process the rest, but I'm sure I'll find one or two more that are worth sharing.

No one said that tears do not escorreriam by the face, but smiling maybe you can use those tears as spiritual cleansing and let it rain. Rain until the sun reappears and overflow you from light. So far, nobody's gone farther than the window into the basement. Perhaps it's due to people trying to convert MPH to kilometres on the fly, as that's how Ireland measures distances in modern times.
This is part of a large addition that I am making to my Bay View album. Bay View is a community of summer cottages near Petoskey, Michigan. Most of these additional photographs are highlighting the great number of porch styles in the community. Taken on an drizzling, overcast day near evening. I would enjoy tea or coffee at the table and chairs on the second level porch.
And as Gina said under my “Seven Up” porch, the houses in this community are “all-American”, not a cookie-cutter in the place. Available at 17-robert-carter.pixels.com in the “Bay View” collection.

"Where is she?" They asked, peeking into the dorm room.
"She is sleeping, shhhh!" her roommate said, grabbing a hoody and closing the door gently while shoving the others out. "Do not disturb her."
"But she is always sleeping! Let's wake her up and drag her out. It's been a month, she always ditches our hang outs."
"Shush! Give her time." she swatted at them, "Let's just go, we will be late for the movie!" Her roomie exclaimed, dragging along the other grumbling friends.
The room was quiet apart from the light snoring and equally calm purring from the felines curled up on her legs and above the head. The sun's last stretch before the night prevails was halted by the black curtains covering her window.
Usually, it was hard to sleep but lately it has been her solace, the best escape she could ask for. Her mind silenced and forced to live in a certain moment. It seemed better than any of her usual escapes. Maybe because her dreams were always laced with red roses, heavy rains and breaking dawns.
She was always taken into new unexpected adventures that at times she didn't know if she was still asleep or awake. For now, she will live in her dreams and maybe someday she will return to the real world.
