After the tragic loss in active combat of the Normandy SR-1 in 2183, Vancouver erected this monument to heroes gone, especially her commanding officer, Commander [NAME WITHHELD] Shepard.
This is a piece looks suspiciously like the Normandy from the Mass Effect video game series from several angles, especially this one.
It's located in Yaletown, outside the Roundhouse Community Center, which itself is related to Vancouvers history with trains, and has "Safety First" printed in huge letters at its base on the other side of that black base, so it's probably actually something to do with either one or both of those themes.

I am stubborn, and I don't like sharing a room with other people, especially inside the crowded (overcrowded, I would say) kitchen building.
I took this photo just before getting into my sleeping bag, alone in my tent and alone among tent-sleepers that evening, with the intention of taking an "after" photo should a bear decide to visit my tent.
Fortunately, I slept undisturbed by the wildlife.

United States Army Garrison Fort Hamilton's Morale, Welfare, and Recreation provided the first 100 attendees with a Chicken sandwich proudly sponsored by Chick Fil-A, at the Garrison's Safety Awareness Day event held on June 29th, 2023, in support of National Safety Month.
Service members, employees, and their families were strongly encouraged to attend this significant event. Participating agencies included the Fire Department of New York, New York City Police Department, New York State Troopers, Directorate of Emergency Services, New York Army National Guard, and Army Community Service.
