Adiyogi Shiva Statue (112 feet) was unveiled on 15th January 2023 in Chikkaballapur, Karnataka, India.
"The Adiyogi statue has been built at Isha Foundation premises at Nandi Hills in Chikkaballapur district of Karnataka State in India. The Ashram has been set up to promote Indian art, culture and spiritual traditions. Cultural programmes including Bharathanatyam by Radhe Jaggi,"
Adiyogi Statue has been recognised as the “Largest Bust Structure” in the world by the Guinness Book of World Records, and stands 112 feet tall. This iconic image of the first yogi is 150 feet long, 25 feet wide, and made from around 500 tons of steel.

My new three spine sticklebacks that arrived here today in the post after their long journey originating near Glasgow in Scotland.
Watching these wonderful new and tiny additions to my aquarium tonight, I noticed they were very lively with their own reflections as though it was an extension of their space .... their own perceptions, individually and as a group .... their dance.
It somehow reminded me of an early childhood memory. I don't know at what age I was, though I think I was gradually becoming conscious after that glorious sub-conscious early child state where it felt like and I believed that everything was safe and stable under my Father's roof.
Bear in mind that I was like Woody Allen in those days, so when I learnt that I was on a planet orbiting in space, I wanted to know more ... and so then my troubles really began! How big is this universe then? ok so it goes on for eternity ... eternity???? wait a minute, how can there be no end? ........ but then how could there be an end to it? after all, if there really was an end to it, then it figures that there has to be something on the other side of that end point ...... and so on ...and on
and so thankyou to Sadhguru for at last bringing my attention to my own crazy Dad Dance 57 years later .....
The Adiyogi Shiva statue is a 112-foot-tall (34 m) statue of Hindu deity Shiva located at Coimbatore in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Designed by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, founder of the Isha Foundation, it was built by the foundation and weighs around 500 tonnes (490 long tons; 550 short tons). Sadhguru said that the statue is for inspiring and promoting yoga, and is named Adiyogi, which means "the first yogi", because god Shiva is known as the originator of yoga.

I'd been listening to the teaching of Sadhguru and started a practice of yoga and meditation everyday. This vision of hands came to me in a dream that spoke very quietly about the simplicity of life.
There were three, with long, almost otherworldly fingers. It's been said that their position and hint of movement suggests that of dancers.
The background was also brown with a simple interwoven design.
This is probably about my sixth or seventh version and I've mounted it on a sheet of papyrus that I bought in Egypt in 1989.
